Repository

The Repository (/repository) is the umbrella for the reference assets you build over time — Memorable Experiences, Question Bank, Networking, Favorite Companies, and Search Firms — the durable career infrastructure that outlasts any single job search. The sidebar Repository entry lands on the overview; a top-nav switches between the sub-pages.

TL;DR — Unlike Job Search (daily churn), the Repository grows slowly and compounds. Each sub-page has its own guide:

  • Memorable Experiences/experiences
  • Quotes/quotes (standalone Notes moved to Enablement → /enablement/notes)
  • Question Bank/interview-prep
  • Networking/networking-contacts
  • Favorite Companies/favorite-companies
  • Search Firms/search-firms

Reading List has moved to the Enablement section (/enablement/reading-list). See the Reading List guide.

Why these four are grouped

They share a mental model: assets you build over time, separate from active job-search churn. A question in your bank, a person in your network, a company on your list, a book in your list — all of them are gradually-accumulated, durable pieces of your career infrastructure. They outlast any individual job search.

Job Search and Pipeline change daily. The Repository doesn't — it grows slowly, refines slowly, and pays back compounding interest.

The overview tiles

The /repository page shows four summary tiles, one per sub-page, each with a live count and a CTA. Use it as a daily landing if you want to see what's stale.

Maintenance cadence

Recommended:

  • Memorable Experiences — capture stories as they happen; re-format with AI before any behavioral interview round
  • Quotes — capture when something lands; re-tag in bulk once a quarter so search stays useful
  • Question Bank — touch when you have a fresh interview round; at least once per quarter
  • Networking — capture new contacts the same week you meet them; do a "who's gone cold" sweep once a quarter
  • Favorite Companies — re-evaluate once per quarter; remove what you've cooled on, add what you've discovered
  • Search Firms — update when relationships change; review quarterly
